Featuring Kunal Ranchod’s dazzling Within the Golden Raga, Simone Orlando’s captivating Cuatro Estaciones, and Alysa Pires’ vivacious MAMBO, this invigorating collection of dance showcases the range and versatility of our dancers. Within the Golden Raga

Inspired by the duality of his Indian heritage and Canadian upbringing, Kunal Ranchod’s Within the Golden Raga is a spiritually informed study of connection to people and place showcasing the depth of Ballet Kelowna’s technical brilliance.

Infusing ballet’s contemporary lines with the intricate, expressive elements of Argentine Tango, this evocative work features the full company performing fiery steps in stunning group formations and seductive duets.

Gaining worldwide acclaim after performances at the China International Performing Arts Expo and Toronto’s Fall for Dance North Festival in 2018, Alysa Pires’ “crowd-pleasing MAMBO” (The Globe and Mail), is a colourful joie de vivre set to a vibrant soundtrack of Latin, swing, and jazz standards by musical legends.
Ballet Kelowna is currently limiting the Reprise program to 426 seats per show, which is 50% capacity. Additional tickets may become available closer to the performance date.
