Growing up in Toronto Aunaray C. Clusiau aka Carol Clusiau took her first art classes at the Ontario College of Art, drawing large-bellied, wrinkly, old men, right off the street, wearing nothing but a bottle of rum.

When she got the message to "go west young girl" she fell in love with BC eventually graduating from Emily Carr College of Art and Design with a major in film where she was blessed to be awarded a scholarship each year including The Helen Pitt Award and The Joseph Golland Memorial Scholarship.

In 1995 she was accepted into the prestigious Canadian Film Center as a Resident Director and screenwriter. Under the name Carol Clusiau she has been reviewed in the Vancouver Sun, The North Shore News, Playback Magazine, The Oregonian Press, Take One Magazine, The Montreal Mirror as well as interviews on Co-op Radio Vancouver and The CBC Morning Show.

Retired from film directing, she is happy to be living away from the big city, in the beautiful Okanagan where she sometimes designs and sells jewelry at the farmers market, teaches yoga and has recently renewed her passion for painting.

Stop by the Local.lounge.grille at the Summerland Resort to see several large paintings by Aunaray (in the restaurant area) and enjoy the wonderful food and atmosphere.
