Cherie Hanson
RCA Resident Artist, Studio 205A local and international artist, Cherie minored in art while earning her B.A., B.Ed., and M.A. Cherie explores the world of art by focusing on digital photographic art, poetry and painting. In 2007 Cherie was awarded a certificate of recognition titled "Beyond Walls" at the Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art in Italy.
Cherie has adjudicated photography for the Central Okanagan Photographic Society, the Light Room and reviewed films for the Okanagan Film Festival Society. With over twenty years of teaching experience, Cherie has taught a variety of courses in photography and poetry at the Rotary Centre for the Arts and UBC Okanagan.
