Endowment Fund
Supporting Youth Arts Education at the Rotary Centre for the Arts
In 2005, the Rotary Centre for the Arts (RCA) established an Endowment fund with the Central Okanagan Foundation by contributing an initial amount of $10,000. That same year, this contribution was generously matched by the Vancouver Foundation, BC Arts Renaissance Fund, and The Endowment Incentives Component of the Canadian Arts and Heritage Sustainability Program, tripling the RCA's initial investment.
To date, the RCA's total investment of $45,000 has grown to over $146,000. This will remain in perpetuity, with all interest earned used towards supporting Youth Arts Education Programming at the Rotary Centre for the Arts.
This program is vital as it helps to ensure that every child within our community has access to Arts Education programming at the RCA.
Anyone wishing to make contributions to the RCA Endowment Fund is encouraged to do so, as the Rotary Centre for the Arts has the opportunity to have an additional $250,000 tripled this year.
