Revelstoke II | 20x24 | Oil on Canvas | $1008 (incl gst) Bonnie Anderson, artist and owner of Potters Addict Ceramic Art Studio, studied at the University of Calgary where she triple majored in painting, printmaking and ceramics. In 1990 the lure of the Okanagan brought Bonnie to Kelowna where she established her own Ceramic Art Studio. Bonnie’s pieces are created using watercolours, oils and acrylics, along with woodblock, intaglio, silkscreen, lithography and photography techniques. Her clay works and paintings are produced and sold in Potters Addict and can be found in galleries across Canada. Artist Statement: I am currently working on a series of landscapes using negative painting techniques on black canvas. I just wish there were more hours in the day for me to play. 
The Girls | 24x30 | Oil on Canvas | $797 As an artist, Cyndee’s goal is to endlessly explore the boundaries of mixing colour, light, shape and shadow, to redefine objects from the real world. Cyndee prefers the medium of oil because of the way it feels when applied to canvas. For the last 10 years, it has been Cyndee’s privilege to pursue her passion. As she continues to expand and grow as an artist, Cyndee loves to share her passions with others through her art. Artist Statement: I love painting flowers, the lines, shapes and textures are incredibly detailed. By combining the softness of the petals with a harder geometric edge, I achieve a completeness. 
The Music of a Lonely Tree | 16x20 | Watercolour | $250 (unframed) Barbora Bjarne Streibl has taken art lessons in the past, but is mostly self-taught. Her art is about peaceful scenery painted in gentle colours, transporting the viewer to a slower pace of life. Watercolour in particular is her favourite medium. Barbora is also skilled in pencil portrait drawings and has tried her hand at graphics and combining watercolour with ink. Barbora is enjoying her year in the Okanagan, where she has discovered wonderful subjects for her artwork. She will be returning to Calgary, Alberta where she lives with her husband Henry and daughter Barbori.

After an introduction to the brush, Madeleine found a new fellowship and creative inspiration. Artist Statement: I never find time to do what I really like to do. I get great satisfaction from my artwork, something I started in my senior years. 
In the Rain | 36x36 | Acrylic on Wood Panel | $700 Growing up in Toronto, Aunaray C. Clusiau aka Carol Clusiau was blessed by location to frequent the plethora of art galleries available to her. In 1995, she was accepted in to the prestigious Canadian Film Centre as a Resident Director and Screenwriter. Under the name Carol Clusiau, she has been reviewed in the Vancouver Sun, The Montreal Mirror, Take One Magazine and the CBC Morning Show. Now retired from film directing, Carol is happy to be living away from the big city in the beautiful Okanagan, where she has recently renewed her passion for painting.

Cynthia learned the basics of Printmaking and the valued "press". In 1979 Cynthia enrolled in the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design and studied Printmaking and Lithography, concentrating mostly on the Litho Prints. When she moved to the Okanagan, Cynthia returned to Okanagan College where she studied Printmaking under Mary McCullough-Smith and the late Doug Biden. Artist Statement: I love the whole printmaking process, the inks and the printmaking studio. These artworks have to do with Dance, Music, and the Rhythm of movement... even as a Skier glides down a hill there is the up, and down movement, like ballet on the slopes.

Evolution of Spirit | 16x60 (triptych) | Acrylic on Canvas | $425 Angella Goodon is an emerging abstract artist, currently living and working in Kelowna. Angella has had a passion for art since a very young age and credits much of her creative inspiration coming from her father, a fellow artist, and her brother, a musician. Even though she is predominently self taught, she recently completed a two-year Diploma in Art. Through these classes, her love for fine art and design grew, and she was able to refine her abstract style. Artist Statement: My artwork is a continual experiment with bold lines, vibrant colour and texture. I focus on the energy of the colours, the evidence of the artist's hand in the brushstroke and the way those marks flow throughout my paintings.

Having always felt a need to create, she received her BFA at the University of British Columbia in 2006. Now a prolific and motivated artist, Christina is on the board for Livessence Society and participates in group shows on a regular basis. She is currently working on having a solo show in the near future and is teaching art to others. Artist Statement: Wanting to capture the vibrancy and life of a coral reef in an abstract way, I chose to make colour the dominant feature of this work, while maintaining the grittiness of the ocean floor in texture.
