Donations and Sponsorships: How You Can Help

Donations and sponsorships are a vital element in the funding mix that supports the artistic work we do. Like virtually all professional not-for-profit performing arts groups across Canada, we earn about 45–50% of our revenues from Box Office. The other 50-55% is raised through a combination of grants, gaming activities, and fundraising (including donations and sponsorships).

Donations

Sunshine Theatre Company is a registered not-for-profit society with charitable status, so any amount donated to the company will be recognized with a tax receipt, as well as acknowledgement in our show programs. Donations by individuals and corporations are vital to the company’s financial health, and also demonstrate to other funding agencies that there is significant community support for our activities.

Sponsorships

There are many sponsorship opportunities for companies or individuals who wish to partner with Kelowna’s professional theatre company. Those opportunities are available at any dollar level. There are many benefits as well.
