Rankin, Church & Crowe with "Almost Angelic" Harmonies

Event: Rankin, Church & Crowe
Date: Wed, Feb. 24th at 7:30 PM
Price: $30/adult, $10/student

FREE Local Artist Pre-show:
The Malarkeys at 6:30 PM

Award winning recording artists Raylene Rankin, Cindy Church and Susan Crowe blend folk, country and jazz with confident ease, creating richly textured harmonies and a welcoming rapport that invites audiences in and makes them want to stay for more!

Raylene Rankin: best known for her part of the Rankin Family and the Rankin Sisters. Her solo work stands apart on its own as solidly creative. She brings an unerring taste to her song choice, and as a writer, has an instinctive ear for what makes a song. Add to that her voice, as incomparable as hand-cut crystal.

Cindy Church: simply one of the finest singers in Canada today.
Her work with Quartette, Lunch at Allen's and The Nearness of You illustrates the range of her ability and music flexibility. Cindy's honeyed voice, song writing abilities and creative harmonies add the next component to this trio.

Susan Crowe: described as a writer's writer; one whose eyes and ears never wander far from the lyric. Her graceful, well designed writing is subtle in its craft and message, and varied in its style. Susan's voice, unquestionably the darkest of the three, provides a kind of harmonic shade to this musical geometry.

Together they are more than the sum of their parts; they are
