Written and performed by British stand up comedian Chris Gibbs, Antoine Feval is a one man comic tour-de-force that introduces us to Barnaby Gibbs - a kind-hearted but thoroughly dim-witted and clueless young Englishman who inadvertently becomes the Dr. Watson-like sidekick to brilliant detective Antoine Feval.

Unaware that his new partner is actually the master thief who's been robbing the city blind, good guy Barnaby eagerly recounts his adventures in a story full of twists, turns, and gadzooks moments!

In 2005 Antoine Feval premiered at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival were it sold out every performance and won the 'Best of the Fest' award. Following the successful debut, the performance was held over at the Edmonton Fringe, and then went on to sell out at the 2006 Toronto Fringe. More recently the show was performed in New Zealand, New Mexico and Massachusetts.

Chris Gibbs is a writer, stand-up comedian and actor based in Toronto. His other one-man shows include 'Gibberish' and 'The Power of Ignorance'. He's also the co-author of 'The Power of Ignorance: 14 Steps To Using Your Ignorance' self-help book.

Join us for this delightful comedy performance coming to the Mary Irwin Theatre through February 11-14th. To learn more about Antoine Feval and the exciting 2008/2009 Sunshine Theatre Season please visit www.SunshineTheatre.org.

Described by the CBC as "the hottest guitar ensemble in Canada", MG3 has quickly established itself as a force of rejuvenation and cross-pollination between various musical forms. Marrying passionate virtuosity with a stealthy sense of humour, the trio has charmed the ears of seasoned critics and captured the hearts of their ever-expanding audiences worldwide.

The trio's eclectic, energetic music takes listeners on a journey through the world's many cultures; from the mysterious, exotic melodies of India to the hot rhythms of South America, Spain, the Balkans, the Orient, and traditional Quebec. With its unbridled energy and charisma, MG3's music exudes an irresistible energy that will have you stamping furiously to the beat!

In addition to their evening performance, Montréal Guitare Trio will be presenting a special RCA Lunch Box Concert performance on Wednesday, February 18th. Louisiana produces some of the funkiest jazz & blues musicians in the world, and John Lee Sanders happens to be one of them. An incredibly talented musician, John Lee can sit in front of a piano and transport you from the everyday, to a smoky New Orleans Cajun bar, then on to a blues club in Austin, and still further to an uptown Jazz Club in Manhattan, all in one set.

In his youth, John Lee spent his time immersed in the wealth of jazz, blues and gospel music. A native of Louisiana, John Lee now calls British Columbia home. He has performed his music throughout the world in festivals and concerts in North & South America, Australia and Europe.

John Lee has performed with many New Orleans Legends, including Dr. John, The Meters, Marcia Ball, Zigaboo Modeliste, King of the New Orleans Funky Drums, Kirk Joseph and Tuba player of the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.

In 2004 John Lee was nominated for "Blues Song of the Year" at the WC Handy Blues Awards and in 2007, he also received an Emmy nomination for the jazz ballad "Just One Kiss."

You can catch John Lee Sanders delivering a bucket full of blues gumbo at the Mary Irwin Theatre on February 28th at 8pm. Tickets to John Lee Sanders can be purchased through Ticketmaster, by visiting the Rotary Centre for the Arts Box Office, or by calling (250) 717-5304.
