Fans of Juno Award winner Greg Sczebel will not want to miss his upcoming performance at the Rotary Centre for the Arts on Saturday, October 10th at 7:30 p.m.

With his new album, set to hit retail stores in February 2010, Greg will feature new music from his upcoming release "Love & The Lack Thereof," as well as some favourites from his debut album, "Here to Stay."

Already receiving praise from the industry and fans alike for its fresh sound, the new album features a wide range of sounds from a New Orleans-type jam to a BeeGees-esque Pop song with a nod to the 70's. The new album is available for pre-order exclusively at the Spotlight Series performance and by visiting www.gregsczebel.com.

To celebrate his new release, Greg has just launched a contest where he will be driving to one fan's house next August, playing a private concert at their house, and as a parting gift, will be giving them the keys to his 2009 Nissan Cube. For a list of all the different ways you can win Greg's car and the private concert, go to www.WinGregsCar.com

Greg is joined on stage by a 4-piece band comprised of Calgary bassist, Hank Insell, Vernon Drummer, Dan Oldfield, Keyboardist and B3 player, Darius Wilson from Moose Jaw, SK and guitarist Steve Davis from Langley, BC.

The show features moments of high energy Pop, Rock, Funk and Soul, and more intimate moments where Greg shares the emotive ballads he has received critical acclaim for (Sczebel was named a Grand Prize Winner in the international John Lennon Songwriting Contest for his song, "Homeland").

And... don't forget WAM! will also be taking place throughout the building on the evening of the concert from 9-11 p.m. Visitors are welcome to take in a live performance by the Michael Garding Group and meet arists in person at this FREE event.

Tickets to Greg Sczebel can be purchased online at Select Your Tickets, by visiting the RCA Box Office, or by calling (250) 717- 5304. Visitors are encouraged to catch the FREE Local Artist Pre- show featuring Michael Fredrick in the Atrium at 6:30 p.m. before the concert.
