To celebrate its 10th year, Evergreen has expanded to include 326 guests and a colourful New Orleans twist. This year, we've decided to put an extra helping of "Fun" into the celebrations, with a focus on formal with lots of flair!
Commenting on the new format, Executive Director, Tracie Ward said, "This year we've really jazzed up the event with a fun New Orleans feel. Various rooms throughout the building will be transformed into the French Quarter, where guests can enjoy a variety of delicious gourmet menu items, smooth jazz, and show-stopping burlesque."
The new design will take guests through a New Orleans journey to places such as the Preservation Jazz Hall, Mermaid Lounge, and the Funky Butt at Congo Square, each filled with authentic New Orleans entertainment.
The evening will also feature a progressive-style gourmet dinner, world class wines, the Evergreen Art Gallery, fantastic silent auction packages, the always exciting live auction, and a full evening of high-energy Louisiana Blues entertainment, including performances by John Lee Sanders, the Anna Jacysyzn Trio and the Kinshira Fire Troupe!
Proceeds from Evergreen are once again committed to funding the annual costs of RCA Youth Arts Education Programming. With these funds, the Rotary Centre for the Arts is able to offer quality programming at little or no cost to children in our community.
Tickets for Evergreen JazZ'd are $200 per person and are available for purchase by calling (250) 717-5304. With the new format, there's no need to worry about having too many in your group for one table. To learn more about Evergreen JazZ'd and to view the invitation online click here.
