World Fusion Dance Party!
Tantalize your senses with the sultry beats of Tambura Rasa on Thursday, May 28th at 5:30pm. The eight-piece Balkan-Gypsy ensemble will be heating up the RCA with a hot global dance party complete with belly dancing and flamenco.
Formed in 2004 by guitarist Ivan Tucakov, members of the band include multi-percussionist Joseph 'Pepe' Danza, violinist Natasha Ratz, bass player John Bews, drummer Trevor Grant, gypsy swing violinist Michael Fraser, flamenco dancer Karen Pitkethly, and belly dancer Leah.
With so many incredible musicians in one room, end your workday off right with an exciting evening of exotic melodies! Following the performance, guests are welcome to stick around for our popular Salsa Thursday event starting at 8pm in the Atrium.
