KVPACS Endowment Fund

In 2006, the Rotary Centre for the Arts established an Endowment fund with the Central Okanagan Foundation by contributing an initial amount of $10,000. That same year, this contribution was generously matched by the Vancouver Foundation, BC Arts Renaissance Fund, and The Endowment Incentives Component of the Canadian Arts and Heritage Sustainability Program, tripling the RCA’s initial investment to a total of $30,000.

With all the generous contributions made thus far, the total value of the Endowment fund has now reached $60,000. This will remain in perpetuity with annual proceeds to be used to support the RCA’s Rising Star fee assistance program.

Anyone wishing to make contributions to the Rotary Centre for the Arts Funds is urged to do so. This is the last year that both fund matching programs are available. Any contributions made by November 30, 2007 will qualify for tripling. The Rotary Centre for the Arts has the opportunity to have up to $250,000 tripled this year. All interest earned from the endowed funds will be used towards the RCA’s Rising Star Fund, to ensure that every child has access to Arts Education programs at the RCA.
