Don has taught Theatre in School District 23 for over 33 years. In 1994 he was the recipient of a National Award for Leadership in Education recognizing his contribution to the development of the Theatre Program and Performing Arts Centre at Kelowna Secondary School.
He has directed countless plays and musicals in the school and in the community, and developed a reputation for producing challenging and thought provoking productions.
He has received many awards at Zone and Provincial Festivals for his work with Theatre Kelowna Society and New Company Theatre Society.
