workshop # 611
Annabel Stanley,

Making balls and fish from vines and willow.

Annabel trained in London in the 80’s, serving wealthy and prestigious clientele such as Harrods, Este Lauder, Tiffanys, and decorating the Christmas tree for the Duke and Duchess of York at Buckingham Palace. Annabel moved to New Zealand with her husband Grant (now the winemaker at Quail’s Gate) and started weaving sculptures with vine canes and willow. She started to give workshops with local elementary schools and ended up speaking to horticultural groups from the south to north of New Zealand .
