About our goals...
The Rotary Centre for the Arts is designed as a multi-disciplinary arts centre, and a multi-purpose venue providing enjoyment of a wide array of activities including special events and festivals. The community can come and see artists and performers in action, while sharing in the excitement of strengthening and developing our cultural heritage.
The building includes a 326-seat theatre, a set-building workshop, eight artist studios used by individuals or groups, a painting-drawing room, dance studio, pottery studio, rehearsal hall, music room and multi-purpose meeting room. Also featured in the Rotary Centre for the Arts is the Alternator Gallery for Contemporary Art, The Centre Art Gallery, Staccatos Gelateria and Bistro and an Atrium with an open space courtyard for both public and private events and an outdoor stage.
Not only does the Rotary Centre for the Arts provide a venue for local talent, but also allows us as a community to enjoy and share with others the rich culture we possess. People of all ages and backgrounds have an opportunity to contribute to the Rotary Centre for the Arts as well as gain something in return.
